Jack Silberman B.S M.S
Jack
is known as Chattanooga's FITNESS GURU. Jack has a B.S degree in physical education/health, a Masters degree in physical
education and health, and a Masters degree in Administration and Supervision.
A
native of Long Island NY, Jack made his way south in 1976 to teach and coach in the Chattanooga school system. After 3 years
of coaching, his teams had won 6 championships and he was voted Chattanooga's coach of the year. Jack then moved to Nashville
to coach college football at Austin Peay State University. In 1981 he returned to Chattanooga and became the supervisor for
all health/physical education and athletics. In 1985 Jack opened his 1st fitness center and it was Voted Chattanooga's
Best, and the rest is history.
Jack is known to his peers as a visionary.
He had the vision to start Chattanooga's 1st Overweight exercise program for women 20 lbs plus
called W.O.W. The W.O.W program was voted by Nike as one of the top 10 most innovative programs in the country.
Jack was also the founder of FIT CAMPS, a 5 week licensed training program for women who want to move
their fitness conditioning to the next level. Jack continues to create new avenues for the fitness industry.
